It's okay for westerners or students! It is very close to where I lived in EG (Lebanon Sq) ~ very good for cappucino and croissant early in the morning! Not a patisserie so don't expect too much but do try their carrot cake....very tasty!
The food is good if not a tad expensive for the average Egyptian, but saying that it is very popular in the evenings with the 'student set'. In the evenings when busy they may levy a charge of LE15 per person (even if all you want is a late coffee!). But, apart from that they have efficient staff and a nice setting with western music and sometimes live music in the evenings (take some earplugs). Husband found it a bit too smoky indoors in the evenings, but there are outside seats!
An acceptable eaterie with good, friendly staff. [12 Mar 2004 16:42:18]
