Very Bad service and Food Taste
I was with a friend taking our lunch on 11/8/2003 at Friday's ( Giza Branch- American Boat). We have chooses one fahijta Combo and one Chicken Fahijta.
Firstly, they brought us the cheese, soured cream and tomato with onion, the onion seemed have been chopped very early if it wasn't the day before, it had an awful smell besides that the plate which contained the bred (made from wood) had a very bad smell as if it wasn't cleaned at all. We couldn't dare to touch the bread of course. I asked them to change the tomato and the onion; they asked me if I would like the cheese only or the cheese with the soured cream. Anyhow I preferred to have the cheese only.
Secondly, I had to wait for about 40 minutes until I called the waiter and asked for the food, which was a disaster. I really didn't see any place or restaurant serving Fahijta like this. The wood plate was really dirty, food and oil was spilled all over it as if it hasn't been cleaned after several people who ate at it. And to make the story worse, the chicken has a strange color.
In summary, I really was disappointed and frustrated with the level of the service and the food, and I will never come back to Friday's ever. I will also tell this story to all of my friends; I won't recommend any body to visit Friday's and waste their money and time because I felt that my time for pleasure was really ruined.    [13 Aug 2003 03:10:42]

Stay away

great food
I was at TGIF last week, oct 2004, along the Nile and I thought the food was great. There was so much that I took part of it home with me. I had mushroom chicken, I believe, with rice. It was so tasty.    [20 Oct 2004 13:26:08]
