Impressive food, spectacular site A must for lunch on the Riviera. In the heart of ancient Eze village - no cars allowed - 3,000 ft above the sea with a spectacular view and very good food, it's an experience not to be missed, although quite pricey. [10 Feb 2003 00:37:11]

excellent food and service The food is delicious - it was a meal that will always be remembered (the fourth in my life). 120 euros for the tasting menu - the jambon infused scallops alone were worth it ... and as for the mint chocolate at the end - well, things have developed since you raided matchmaker mints from your gran at Christmas ...
I won't bore you with a long list of the food ... 10 dishes in total including the chef's little dalliances ... suffice to say it was all cooked to perfection, and each course was a delight to behold.
Service was informative, not patronising (French waiters in London take note) and they seem to be pleased that you enjoy the food, and get friendlier the more you take an interest ... one suspects a lot of high rollers ignore the care put into the food, so maybe they like it when you clear your plate ... and don't write postcards, as the poorly dressed (although obviously wealthy) American lady did on the table next to us. How can you scribble postcards while eating food of this class?
Excellent choices of glasses of wine to accompany each course, necessary for philistines such as myself who get bamboozled by large wine lists.
An experience not tbe missed, and well worth the 120 euros a head for a 4 hour lunch. Get a cheap morning flight to Nice, a cab to the restaurant for lunch, and then get the early evening flight back - full of good food and memories. [26 Sep 2005 11:49:33]
