Stay well away
We tried to have our Xmas party with 20 people at Cabana and although we had booked and ordered a set menue in advance the food turned out to be a catastrophe. Four people did not get the right salmon with their starter. The ordered vegeterian curry with rice turned out to be cawliflower, broccoli and potatoes. The turkey dish was not cooked properly and four people recieved the wrong desert (spekulatius ice cream instead of lime mousse). that turned out to be the better choice though, as the mousse was still partly frozen. The white wine was served chilled though we had to ask for a cooler. The lady with the raw turkey asked for a free bottle of wine instead of another course, because she had by then lost her appetite. All she was offered was a cocktail in the middle of drinking a nice glass of wine!? Oh yes the fish course was overcooked and therfore too dry. Ah yes by the way, try not to drink to much of the tap water with soda, it cost nearly 5 euros a bottle!    [19 Dec 2002 05:46:20]

Favorite Restaurant in Heidleberg
After having enjoyed at least 20 meals in Cabana, I can say this is my favorite restaurant in Heidelberg, probably in all of Europe. The food is fantastic and the waitresses are extremely sexy.    [04 Jul 2003 05:45:02]
