Good food, good for vegetarians
Small place with a nice ambience - very cozy, but casual. As the previous review mentioned, smoking is allowed, and the place is small, so you can't get away from the smoke if someone there is smoking.

Dine-in or take-out. Very friendly staff. They have a number of vegetarian items on the menu, and will also modify a recipe upon request. When I ask for vegetarian Pad Thai, they ask whether eggs were okay or not. This is always a good sign - they understand and will cater to picky people such as myself.    [08 Aug 2003 14:05:24]

oseimos moved
OSEIMOS moved from its little cellar to the location of former chiang mai 9. so it's more in the town-centre. unfortunately it lost its charme - but give it a try.    [06 Jun 2004 10:21:59]

Allthough they moved to "downtown" it is still a nice and friendly place. Prices are still low and there is no enerving asian artificial touch. The service is friendly and if u wait for springtime you have the opportunity to dine in the middle of precious little town of Wiesloch.    [02 Dec 2004 09:27:11]

Oseimos will close on January 23, 2006
This is tragic, as Oseimos is the best restaurant in the town, and the only one where you can get decent and reasonably priced vegetarian/vegan food.
The town of Wiesloch will be poorer without their excellent convivial atmosphere, outstanding food.
Although a staggeringly popular place to eat, they have been let down by their banks.
