Description

Small pizza place with a wood-fired pizza stove. The place has occasional events like bingo or live TV at important sport events. The audience is mainly people around 18-25, but at times you have a completly mixed audience.

The Wunderbar also prepares pizzas and its other dishes for takeaway - needing about 30 minutes from your call till the order is ready for pickup.

Best Pizzas in Town
The service here is fine, but it definitely improves once the know you; Kind of a regular guest bonus.

The ambience is nothing fancy, more bar like. You have TVs on the wall and the have a card playing console at the bar.

During summer they have tables outside and it's nice and quite enough to sit outside.

The Wunderbar's speciality is definitely its delicious pizza from the wood fired pizza stove. Together with the resonable price it is great value, tough for some reason the pizza hardly comes as perfect as it could be.

Besides pizza the serve some pasta and some meat dishes - all good quality.

The Wunderbar is a good choice if you are looking for a bar with good food, to hang out with friends, or if you just want to eat outside, but don't feel like going to a "real" restaurant. As such it is one of my favorites around here.    [04 Jun 2003 14:27:07]
