Description

Small "Enoteca" (Italian Wine and Coffee Shop) right next to the "Cinema". The Aquamarina serves mainly "Panini" (Italian style sandwiches) as food, but they also have a few pasta dishes and salades.

They only have 4 or 5 bar-like tables and could be described as a fast-food place with a little more style. The tables-section is decorated with a wooden shelf and a lot of wine bottles, which are also for sale.

The superior fast food.
This place is not really a restaurant, it's more like a snack bar, but a really nice one.

If you read an english restaurant guide (which you are obviously doing) and you are staying in Munich for a longer period, you are likely to pass this place as it is located right next to the cinema "Cinema", which is the main place for "english/original language version" movies in Munich.

I visit this place mainly to get a quick sandwich and a cappucino before watching a movie, and as such I enjoy it every time. They are friendly, the panini are fine and I always enjoy the enoteca ambience.    [26 May 2003 17:58:35]

Food is very good
The food in that place is very good. Try to get some of the handmade pasta (not quite good but still industrial "penne"). The antipasti are very good and vary often. The panini are far over munich average.

For espresso you should get one from Tassos, the smaller dark haired greek owner. He makes the best!    [22 Feb 2005 10:54:46]
