A lovely evening out
First the initial impression was of high quality and expense but after studying the menu outside the entrance it proved that the prices are very reasonable. A very wide selection to choose from. I chose a starter of stuffed peppers with cheese and my partner had garlic mushrooms which were both well cooked and not too filling. Then I asked the waiter for a recommendation and he suggested the chicken souvlaki which I and my partner ordered. It was presented on the skewer with each piece of chicken wrapped in bacon which gave it a heavenly flavour. We finished our meal with home-made apple pie & icecream - it was difficult to choose from so many desserts. With our coffee we were offered a complimentary Metaxa which I thought was a nice touch. The ambience was just right with some Greek popular music and a central fountain lit up. We didn't feel cramped or too close to the other tables nor did we feel rushed to leave as has happened in some other restaurants. A fantastic restaurant
I have eaten at Sagittarius together with my daughter. I loved the pizzas and the spaghetti carbonara - lots of garlic. My daughter is vegetarian and was really happy with the choice. She specially likes the stuffed vine leaves and the vegetarian moussaka. We asked to share the Tingaki surprise ice cream and we nearly fell off our chairs when we saw it coming. It was just HUGE - 5 scoops plus every kind of fruit, nuts, syrups etc you can think of. Great food and very cheap.    [28 Apr 2002 19:28:48]

Strawberry surprise!
Both me and my partner thought the restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. I especially liked the strawberry surprise and the chicken souvlaki, and I made sure we went back three or four times throughout the holiday. My partner couldn't get enough of the saganaki cheese either! We were also impressed that they didn't put up with the annoying people who were constantly walking around trying to sell you something. Best In Kos..!
I'm only 15.. and i went on holiday with my parents and younger borther last year.. the sagittarius restaurant was addictive.. we went there almost every night.. it was brilliant.. so friendly.. they were so kind to my little brother too.. they gave him lollies and all sorts of sweets.. all i can say is it was fantastic    [17 Apr 2004 15:08:58]

The place to eat in Tigaki, No doubt
We ate there every evening during our stay, and were always made to feel welcome. It would be difficult to recommend any particular dish as all are very good. The ambience is nice and relaxed, and you will all be well looked after. All in all a lovely setting and very good food and service.

Tigaki's STAR!!
Hello to Donna and Manolo!
We enjoyed several nice evenings at this extraordinary restaurant. Excellent food at reasonable prices, children menues par excellence, refreshing drinks - did I miss anything??
YES - the overwhelming hospitality rendered by Donna (behind the bar), Manos and his crew (not to forget his son, who is doing a big job). It is still fascinating, that this house looks after all this years (more than 10, am I right?) every year again as it has just opened, and the chef is the busiest waiter and host, not a boss at all.
Looking forward to coming back soon.

Superb food, spotlessly clean, warm welcoming atmosphere, helpful friendly staff all go together to make Sagittarius the best restaurant in Kos. Absolutely Fantastic !!!
We tried many restaurants on Kos on our recent 2 week holiday but without a doubt Sagittarius is no.1
The staff, Manos Donna Georgia Anthony and George are all wonderfull people who simply can't do enough for you,
The food was utterly fantastic ( I tried meals I had never heard of before and am now addicted to them all )
the house wines were all excellent too and the free sweets are always welcome

guaranteed the highest quality food in tingaki. We have tried several restaurants over the past 3 years and still find that sagittarius is the best by far!!!
