The BEST food in IXIA
Fabulous restaurant up side street opposite old entrance to La Miramare hotel. Let the owner recommend a dish or make a meze for you - beautiful little cheese pies served with your bill. It looks expensive from the menu but it does not work out to that much - frequented by locals, always a good sign!!    [21 Aug 2006 05:32:31]

My reason for returning to Rhodes!
I have to say, Holiday food is usually all the same. You run the gauntlet walking down the main streets of most resorts, looking at the "mugshots" of plates of food from years gone by., being ushered off the street by some charismatic restaranteur with a "Colgate toothpaste smile....ping!!!"

Now, if you want to eat real food...Le Gourmet is the place. It is the Perfect fillet steak plucked from a sea of bad burgers! I can't say enough!!! Yummy!!    [22 Dec 2006 14:35:48]
