Heavenly
We visited this restaurant on my birthday while on our honeymoon in Santorini. The ambiance was utterly romantic, and I particularly liked the individual pottery pieces on the tables. The dining experience was magical: all of the food was delightful, and while the menu was cosmopolitan, original, and inventive, it was also very uniquely Greek. The local Santorini wine our server recommended was lovely and complex, and we loved the way the restaurant obviously worked with local growers and fishers to produce their dishes. Overall, the best dining experience I have had anywhere (and I have been to much more 'posh' restaurants and paid quite a bit more). Highly recommended.    [09 Jan 2006 17:45:48]
