Unfortunate dining experience All in all quite an unpleasant experience for me and some colleagues. The only safe way to enter Botticelli's and eat without feeling let down is to go in really hungry with no pre-conceptions about the food other than that you want it quickly and it has to be pizza or pasta and not particularly authentic Italian. You're not too worried about service or ambiance, you just want to get in, eat something and get out. If you go with that frame of mind you should be okay. [28 Aug 2005 10:44:40]

Unhappy customer
I totally disagree with the above review. My sister and I were there in June 2003 and found this restaurant to be one of the most authentic Italian restaurants we had been in. The food was delicious. [22 Oct 2005 09:08:53]

Favorite Restaurant - period. I've visited this restaurant on every trip I've had to Dublin. I now look forward to my next Dublin visit just so I can eat their food. Friendly staff, good service, but most importantly - fantastic food. Definitely try their gelato, as well. [08 May 2006 16:17:11]

Fantastic My husband and I stumbled upon Botticelli while in Ireland - the food was phenomenal, the service top notch, and the wine excellent. Too bad for the unhappy customer - I 100% disagree with him - [07 Feb 2007 17:35:40]

A Let-down Bland food with no real plus points, a poor dining experience. What a let-down. [31 Mar 2007 16:49:55]

Banal I often go to Botticelli's as I find it an easy and quick solution to dining out. Happy to go there on my own or with friends who are picky eaters. There is nothing very special about the food. The staff are generally very friendly and it has a nice easy going atmosphere. It isn't anything special though. Ordinary Italian style food. [05 Jun 2007 07:56:07]
