I don't think so!!
Visited this restaurant last night having been there several times before and never disappointed. Well that was about to change.........To cut a long story short we were handed the wrong menus first. Starters were fine and then for the main we both had the steak. Both arrived cold but only I had the nerve to complain. My companion was left eating on her own while I waited for my steak to be re-heated which again came back cold but I opted to say nothing because we wanted to get home at a decent hour!! Also my extras that were on my plate that was taken away, i.e the veg and potato wedges never re-appeared. Was this disaster reflected on the bill... not a chance. I'm a firm believer that you leave and you learn. I have learnt not to go back there!!    [12 Nov 2003 06:20:32]

Rude!
Friend phoned the restaurant to book a table for 17 girls, a hen do. They accepted, saying that they also turn the restaurant into a disco, where you can let your hair down, sounded perfect. Unfortunately we arrived to find our table not ready, were made to stand out in the rain whilst they prepared the table. They also told us we had to take off our Pink Ladies jackets, so we didn't upset other customers? We were going to leave, but thought we would continue as our friend had booked it, and it would be unlikely we'd find another restaurant to accommodate such a big group. We were seated, squashed or what! The waiter asked the girls on the far left for drink orders, then left. When he came back he asked for food orders, we hadn't even ordered our drinks, he said it was too late, he'd finished the drink orders. He took the orders for the food, an hour later the food arrived. (We decided to stick to main meal only and then leave promptly). The food was OK but the waiter was clearing the plates before some had finished their meal, how rude! They just had no interest in us what so ever. Funny though, they didn't want us to go, and said they would make a fuss of the hen after the meal. You can guess our response to this, walked out, no tip, and will never ever return.

So just a warning to all out there thinking they will have a brill time, don't bother.    [26 Sep 2005 08:15:45]

Squished, but loved it!!
My date and I arrived at the start of what we discovered was the second sitting. This sitting business is an Irish custom???? We had no reservation, but were told there was a table, but it was not great. Well, it wasn't. Everything else was! My lamb shank was tasty! The staff were kept on their toes, but never lost it! We ended up dancing with the table of 18 hens next to us. Great fun. ABBA!    [30 Nov 2006 20:10:28]

Great place - can't understand all the critisism
Myself and my boyfriend went to the Boulevard and were promptly seated, being told it was the second sitting. We ordered drinks first which were served straight away by a friendly camp waiter. Our meal arrived in about 20 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. I had a vegetarian pasta dish and my boyfriend had steak with wedges and veg, and it looked amazing. The owner, a young lady, was there and brought us down another drink and made conversation which was a nice touch. Ended up staying and they moved away some tables transforming the place into a mini disco and we stayed until about 2.30. Fantastic. Well worth a visit!    [29 May 2007 14:30:20]

Less Than Zero
I have eaten here three times, and have had a considerably worse experience each time. My experiences to date have included either badly/under or over cooked food, tiny portions, and to top it all, the service can only be described as disgraceful.

My most recent (and last time ever) visit to this dump, resulted in me having to ask to speak to the manager(ess). The abuse I received was verging on the comical. The manageress' name is Sharon, and it is obvious by all of the negative write-ups on the net that her restaurant has received, that she is clearly incapable of running any sort of food establishment.

My advice - stay well aware from this s**t pit.    [14 Aug 2007 15:02:09]
