Loud but friendly Staff very friendly. Menu a la carte (around £12-£15, but also a Pasta Menu £8). Unexpected use of herbs such as fresh coriander wish Irish Cheese. You can eat for cheaper having a Soup and a Starter or a side vegetables and salads. Only negative point: the music might be a bit too loud. [23 Jul 2000 07:20:04]

The staff were very friendly. The coffee was normal. I got a pasta dish which was very good. Atmosphere was top with good music. And not expensive [21 Jan 2004 15:18:14]

Disappointing Would not return to this restaurant. Pizza's were disappointing, staff were slow and table was dirty and badly situated. [22 Mar 2004 12:18:59]

Never Again Why didn't we realise what was in store when the slow and rude waiter told us to steer clear of the Soup of the Day... It should have made us get up and leave but we hoped and naively presumed that the food may be this place's redeeming feature - how wrong we were. We went for Lunch Menu - pretty unexciting but good enough value, so we thought. We got the menus quickly enough but from there it just went pear-shaped. The starters were average to say the least - the bruschetta was regular bread with way too much butter and raw tomatoes. The sauce was more like HP Brown sauce as apposed to Balsamic vinegar... the garlic bread was dull and had very little flavour. And the portions wasn’t too generous either. The main courses were very disappointing. We went in there just after 1 and our main courses arrived just after 2 - pathetic. No apologies for slow service, the waiter didn't even come over to say that the food was coming - it was us who had to call him repeatedly to see where it was. 3 pastas, and one pizza - the pastas arrived and were all finished by the time the pizza arrived. At this stage we were at 2.20pm and needed to be back at work so asked for the pizza just to be wrapped up. The boxed article arrived but when the poor guy got back to the office and opened his pizza, he wasn’t happy to say the least. A small, very hastily made pizza lay in the box and 2 obvious pieces of green-mould lay on the base. The toppings were flung on and were pretty sparse. He didn't even bother going back to complain - why bother when he probably would have gotten the same hastened and not-give-a-crap attitude we had encountered earlier..
So be warned, this place is a serious thumbs down. Will definitely not be returning anytime in the future. [29 May 2006 07:22:43]
