Description

The Carnia Hotel and Restaurant is a five minute drive from the Carnia-Tolmezzo exit on the A23 Alpe-Adria motorway that connects Munich in Germany and Vienna in Austria to Venice and the Italian north-east.

It is situated halfway between the coastal towns of the Adriatic sea, such as Trieste, Grado, Lignano and Venezia, and the Austrian and Slovenia cities of Klagenfurt, Villach, Salzburg and Ljubljana. It is also at the crossroads of the main routes to the Friulan mountains, the green hills of Carnia and the ski-slopes of Pramollo-Nassfeld (AU) and Tarvisio-Sella Nevea.

The restaurant menu features traditional Carnian dishes, with fresh fish specialities accompanied by regional wines.

The hotel also has large banqueting rooms that can accommodate up to 300 guests.
