Description

Sarla offers North Indian cuisine cooked with a homely touch. The spices are freshly ground and only the very best of ingredients are used. The Restaurant has a huge open kitchen, so the state of cleanliness and the quality of food being prepared are visible. The space is graciously decorated with antique furniture and objects of art.

Twice a month there is a short performance of Bharatnatyam Dance details of which are given in the Restaurants website. The prices are fair. The atmosphere is quiet and spacious, permitting you to relax, reflect and chat. The staff, who are friendly and courteous, speak Italian and English.

An Exceptional Indian Restaurant in the Heart of Milan
Delightful world class Indian food, delicious and easy to assimilate. The place is impeccably clean and has a large plain-view kitchen where everything is visible - so no tricks or stale food.

The service and the staff here are exceptional: their knowledge of Indian food and helpful attitude made all of us feel at home. We spent Euro 30 per person for better food at half the price we are used to paying in London.

For those who like Indian food, and for the first timers, this place is a must dine spot. It is located on the road known as mediolanum in ancient Roman times, in the heart of Milan's historic downtown district.    [29 Aug 2008 15:19:19]
