La Schiavia is a fine old locale in the historic center of Acqui Terme, with baroque window panelling that would grace an ancient cathedral. The cuisine adheres strictly to the local Piedmont tradition: a slightly cheaper tasting menu (menu degustazione) is available. The wine list includes an excellent Barbera d'Asti selection.
