The restaurant of the Albergo Vecchio Tre Stelle (Old Three Star Hotel) actually has only one - of the Michelin variety, that is. 3 Km out of the village of Barbaresco on the road towards Treiso, it was formerly a locanda (inn) and coaching station.

Specialities of the house include tajarin, a duck/goose pate, and (in winter) Capunet with a saffron sauce. The wines include a fantastic selection of Barbarescos and Barolos.
