Description

Owned and operated by Tunisians, this is a favorite among locals for stuffed fried olives, pizza, and pasta. Middle eastern dishes are also served, with the couscous highly acclaimed. The atmosphere casual with numerous separate rooms. Pizza making is in plain view near the rear of the restaurant before it enters a wood oven for baking. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are fabulous.

Great food at great prices
The simple ambiance of this restaurant is overshadowed by the abundance of great menu selections at extremely affordable prices. This restaurant is a personal favorite with highly recommended dishes such as Penne Macchiavelli (with porcini mushrooms and truffle creme), Olive Ascolane (fried stuffed olives), and the gratis potato pizza that you receive as you are seated. This is a "don't miss" restaurant in Florence. The prices are quite reasonable and the quantity of food is more than satisfactory.    [18 Jun 2006 16:14:10]
