Description
A very elegant restaurant, with a rock solid list of wines. There's nothing outstanding about the decor in the former studio of Santi di Tito, a student of Bronzino, save for its simple formality, with white tablecloths and place settings.

The best restaurant for fish dishes in Florence No way. This is the best restaurant for fish dishes in Florence. But every plate is unique. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is intimate. There is a great selection of wines but there also many affordable choices. Reservations are advised, especially for eating at the wine cellar's only table. [10 Mar 2000 08:31:14]

The best regional foods in Firenze The kitchen cares about the quality of the food and its presentation. The waitstaff cares about the food and the customer and their comfort and well-being. The owner cares about his staff and the wine cellar. These variables blend to create the best possible restaurant in Florence and the Tuscan area! You will enjoy this place on many levels. Terrific value for money As far as the food is concerned, this is one of the great restaurants of the world. You may not see any "celebrities" and the food is not flashy or "fashionable", just perfectly prepared. Service is spot on, accurate and respectful without being too formal. I love it - I go to Florence several times a year just to eat at this historic restaurant. [10 Feb 2004 09:22:53]
