Excellent local food & service with a smile
The young owner/chef serves tradition Aosta dishes with a contemporary twist. While I was there, I tried the spinach mousse with melted camembert -- excellent. The restaurant also serves an fine fonduta valdostana, the local fondu, with homemade pano nero breadcrumbs and polenta. As the restaurant also is an "enoteca," there is an impressive wine list. Ask the chef for his suggestion (though the local Enfer d'Arvier goes well with the fondue).    [09 Nov 2004 10:17:33]
