ambient and truly italian
Just returned from a wonderful 4 days in Venice. We were going to eat at the Metropol, but it was fully booked. I asked where the waiter recommended, and he gave us directions to the Osteria Oliva Nera - and what a fantastic little restaurant this is. Excellent fresh invigorating Italian cuisine, and very friendly owners who really looked after us both with genuine courtesy. Superb fish and wine: we will return to this place for sure.
