Bad management
I visted the restaurant on the evening of 26 February 2004.

The food was mediocre (buffalo wings, nachos). The strawberry margarita had some seeds in it of unknown source, and was light pink. The maragaritas were also mixed weak (not much tequila).

Worst of all, the management created a big fuss when we wanted to send the nachos back because the portion was extremely small (eight individual nacho chips, with beans & cheese etc piled on each one like a mini-sandwich). The line manager on duty tried to force us to accept the portion, and although they backed off (after a long discussion), it ruined the dining experience.

After the nachos disagreement, the waiters dissapeared. To top it all off, their credit card infrastructure was so bad that it took repeated attempts to get my card accepted.

This used to be a great restaurant, but I don't recommend visiting the Almaty location.    [26 Feb 2004 11:34:27]
