Description

The small, hidden entrance a few yards from the busy Koinange Street does not prevent the Bistro from being extremely popular, so it is necessary to book in advance. The civilized atmosphere, quiet classical music, cozy tables, red walls and calm waiters combine with excellent cooking to make this restaurant one of the best in Nairobi. Downstairs at lunchtime there is a special and inexpensive menu; the soups are generally outstanding as are the salads.

Superb
My wife and I lived and worked in Nairobi for two years. Our weekly, and sometimes more often, visit to Alan and Christian made the stay a memorable one. My Wife's favourite was the Coquille St. Jacques and Lobster Thermidor. Whereas I would always go with Christian's recommendation.    [09 May 2003 07:41:47]

The Allan Bobbe's is undoubtedly one place in Nairobi you can bank on! With Christian and his crew, you can be sure your dining experience will be unforgettable. Wonderful
We had the pleasure of eating at Alan Bobbe's over an extended period, whilst I was working in Nairobi.
The service was excellent as was the quality of the food.
