Not worth visiting - nov 2007 trip
My last trip there saw a change in the concept and menu.
I order what the waiter said was "prepared by an Italian Chef". We ordered Seafood Pasta and Macaroni/cheese baked pasta (with bechamel sauce and chucks of chicken) + chinese noodles.

The pastas had the same sauces. Tomato.
The macaroni/cheese was pathetic. It didn't have the chicken chunks, instead it had bits of deep fried chicken skin that looked like bacon bits. No bechamel sauce in sight and small blobs of Mozzarella cheese dotting the pasta. The seafood pasta faired better.
However I think its a rip off to pay RM19 for these dishes that was really not worth its value.
The chinese noodles was very bland and serving size too small.

And the worse part, my guest and I went back with food poisoning! Yes, we were the ones who had the same tomato pasta sauce.

The money would have been better spent at Furusato (Japanese restaurant at Straits view hotel).    [24 Jan 2007 23:28:43]
