Nice environment, delicious food & cheap !
You won't find any restuarant like it. Where can you eat Malay Mixed Rice as nice as at this place?! Nice food and some prices of its meals like at hawker stalls / warong e.g. fried rice for RM3.50. Now Ipoh is on the way to catch up restuarant standard as in KL! Bravo!    [06 Jul 2005 04:55:45]

Malay Restaurant for the Future
From outside, I thought this restaurant must be exclusive and expensive. After we entered the restaurant and looked at the menu, it is exclusive... but not expensive - the prices are affordable !

We went during lunch time, so my wife ordered 'Super Black Pepper Barbecue Chicken' and I took Nasi Campur from its counter.

My wife said its barbecue is very delicious and unique unlike any Malay western and it really western style. Maybe the marination is special. The barbeque costs about less than RM9 which is very reasonable.

My Nasi Campur not bad at all. I took more than 5 types of dishes - its fish curry, kerabu mangga, bergedel, mixed veges, ikan masin and ulam ulam. Very home cooking like - they do not add MSG (Ajinomoto) - I know because I am very sensitive to it. Otherwise, I will feel very thirsty like I felt before at most Malay/Siam restaurants.

Me and wife very satisfied. Will support this good Malay restaurant. The lady owner very friendly - she said must come on Friday, because there is free porridge (like Bubur Cacar, Bubur Kacang etc.). Bravo! This is exemplary Malay restaurant.    [12 Sep 2006 05:15:13]
