The Service is Terribly Bad
In the year 2001, October (Wednesday) 3.00pm the service in the Paya Serai restaurant was quite bad, because I went there 1 time, I try to ask the chef in charge of the Paya Serai about the name of the food and also I say the food is not hot enough hot, and the chef say this is not his problem he don't know, and tell me if I want to eat, go home and eat don't come here!

The guy I forgot the name -- he was wearing spectacles, and he is a chinese guy -- but this is a very bad experience, and also very upsetting when I meet a staff that does'nt want their own company to make business that I had in HILTON Petaling Jaya.    [11 Mar 2002 14:33:16]

Da Blend Taste
On Oct 05 2003 at 5.00pm the service in Paya Serai restaurant was quite bad, because I went there 2 times, I try to ask something to the waitress but the waitress doesn't bother about me. So i went to Cafe Cino. I place my order of frozen mocha to a new staff by the name Syariah I think. The blend taste was very nice and lovely and it's same like in coffee bean. So i hope that staff in Paya Serai to be friendly to the guest like in Cafe Cino. The new restaurant very nice but please to have more staff.    [06 Oct 2003 00:07:56]

Genji
Being to Genji once somewhere in may this year for their buffet dinner. The food is great with excellence variety. Just one thing, the waitress there is a turn off for the restaurant. Mostly are middle age women that speak bad English and dont understand English well. Bad reservation system. Perhaps there's too many customers flowing there and the staffs are not well trained to handle crowds. I went with a group of 6 friends and we reserved a table before we go, however, due to bad management system, we were made to wait for 30 minutes outside a narrow space before we could get our seats. The place is very narrow and they put too many tables that make the whole place look very crowded and there's hardly space to move about!    [15 Oct 2004 00:06:16]

New Paya Serai
It was a great sight to see the new look of Paya Serai. It was a coincidence for me to be in Hilton and I could not resist myself trying out the dinner buffet. I last came here almost a year ago and had a bad experience twice. The food was tasteless and service was equally bad. It took more than 10 mins to be served our drinks, the waiter was rude and hardly spoke English.
But this time I was greeted with a warm smile and was escorted to my table. The waitress promptly took my order and drinks were served in no time. A tall Indian gentleman in black jacket showed me around the buffet and explained the dishes. Service was prompt and overall I was very happy with the complete changeover. I hope it continues. Good Luck!    [05 Dec 2004 08:37:22]
