Excellent Hospitality, Very Good Food And Not Too Expensive

I visited De Bourgondiër and I was surprised by the prices they asked : they are much lower than I expected. De Bourgondiër seems like a high class restaurant. The restaurant itself looks very classy, the serving staff is very friendly and highly educated and the food is haute cuisine (and enough) but when I got the bill it was very low and almost the same as the prices they ask in a bar/restaurant.

So if you are in Hengelo the Netherlands visit this restaurant it's good and not expensive even a student like i am can affort to go out there without going bankrupt    [24 Mar 2005 03:18:14]

What's going on here? It was all so clumsy and the food looked and tasted way below standard. New chef? Chef sick? New staff? No overview by the management? I will certainly not be back here!
