The best pizzeria on the island
This pizzeria has it's own style for about 11 years now. It recently changed ownership but the recepies are still the same.

The pizza's served ain't the way the Italians invented them, the are a little heavier and are much more a meal. But still they are all very tasty and nicely made.

The place is most famous for its salads, a 'Leonardo's Salad' is so big and delicious that you almost can't eat it on your own but you don't want to share it! They have created a very nice dressing which has so much flavours that you really don't have any idea how they make it!!

The atmosphere is really good, its a nice small place with relatively small tables and little place to move, the personnal is really nice and friendly towards everybody. I come there for over 6years and i never experienced any problems at all!

For some strange reason most people become a family as soon as they enter the place, because its so small people often have to eat with unknown people at there table, but this always tends to go right! And if it doesn't the personal always finds a solution for this.

This place just rocks, it's got a great ambiance, the best food in town and really good service! And they ain't expensive too!    [02 Jul 2003 18:07:02]

Nice Place for Everyone
In German: I've been driving to Scharendijke for so long and have been eating at Leonardo's for ages and the result was always the same: everything fine. The "old" owners (Coen and Yvonne), the "new" Karl, the great serving staff (thank you Anke and Yvonne) have succeeded time and again to make a visit to this restaurant an Event. Come here and eat something - it's always a positive experience. And the salad dressing will most probably remain a secret forever.

[Mal auf Deutsch: Fahre schon so lange nach Scharendijke und gehe schon seit Ewigkeiten im Leonardos essen und das Ergebnis war immer das gleiche: Alles gut. Die "alten" Besitzer (Coen und Yvonne), der "neue" Karl, die fantastischen Bedienungen (Danke Anke und Yvonne)haben es immer wieder geschafft, aus einem kleinen Restaurant ein wirkliches Ereignis zu machen. Geht hin und eßt was - lohnt sich immer. Und das Salatdressing wird wohl für immer ein Geheimnis bleiben.
