Chinese Torture
We were 3 people who recently i.e. 1 December 2006 tried out this establishment.

Upon entering the venue there was only one other couple sitting at a table. We should have read the warning signs, but alas pressed on:

The meunu (a bit tatty) did have lots of choices on but I suspect a slight change in one ingredient and it is suddenly something else. I would rather see less options and real mouth watering dishes.

Well initially it took a while to get the order placed but that was done without to much confusion.

The food did resemble Chinese food, but to me it looked more like boarding school food - volume and not quality. Those nice subtle flavours associated with Chinese food were just not there.

One credit was that, when it came to paying separately, this was handled efficiently.

But really I do not think the place is worth recommending or to go back to either. I can understand that when asked about the restaurant one can say: "Okay, you will live to work the next day". That sums it up.    [04 Dec 2006 07:48:19]
