UNBEATABLE This place is stunning - an old building with open fires in winter, the best coffee, and food, esprecially breakfast. The service is quick, unobtrusive and friendly. You have to go there - NOW! [26 Jun 2003 04:29:34]

You spoil us. Hey Roma people, Just love the freshness of the food and the unobtrusive way the staff appear at your elbow just when you need another caffien fix; and they all so cute! (the staff). My only desire is to dine at Roma in the evening, especially since my soul was shattered by the closure of 'Vesuvios' - the black hole that it is now is a metaphor for my reaction to this disaster. Can't fault your cafe - never close, I'd have to leave CHCH to find another eaterie that parallels it - rock on! Love that open fire too. You spoil us. [21 Jul 2003 21:29:45]

A Delightful Find We had walked the streets of Christchurch looking for somewhere special to have an afternoon coffee, then we found Caffe Roma! This place wasn't here when we lived in Christchurch 25 years ago. So cosmopolitan, so European, yet so New Zealand. We loved it and will return on our next visit. [15 Mar 2004 07:41:28]

The Best Definitley our most favourite place to go. The children always behave, they love the fire. The food and service are second to none. [21 Apr 2004 15:21:35]
