Disappointment on the Boulevard Le Cafe's food is average in my books and I was absolutely appalled at the way myself and my partner were treated. After waiting 45mins for lunch we were getting a little irritated. When we could get the attention of our waiter we asked if she would please see where our order was at, she disappeared...and never returned.
We then approached a second waiter who proceeded to search out the manager to handle our complaints. We were offered coffees to make up for the disappointing service which neither of us wanted. There was nothing else on offer and absolutely no explanation or apology!! After a bit of a heated discussion we decided we would not come back and made this known. The manager replied "Whatever" and slamed a door behind him as he exited.
It seems odd to me that he didn't give a crap about our custom which I imagine is what feeds him and puts a roof over his head.
What's most disappointing is that this happened about two months ago, it ruined my whole day then and it's still annoying me now. [18 Aug 2004 21:30:15]

Le Cafe IS the Best After a bad experience at another coffee shop nearby, my mates and I tried Le Cafe. we were warmed by the friendly service, great food, and fun atmosphere it possessed. Since then (roughly 2 years ago) we have been back up to 3 times a week, the managers know us by name, as do the staff.
Words will not describe the Le Cafe experience, it is simply.. divine.
Plus manager Grant is incredibly hot! lol [30 Dec 2004 04:27:16]
