International Attraction I adore the hash browns that come with the Fidel's Feast which is a breakfast menu item. This is my favourite place to take family and friends for brunch.
One family member enjoyed it so much that he keeps mentioning that next time he visits from the Netherlands we have to take him for brunch at Fidel's.
Fidel's is typically eclectic and has a Cuban flavour in the decor. Not upmarket at all, but then I go for the food! [12 Oct 2002 18:09:20]

No place like home away from home I used to be fourtunate enough, to live in Wellington. My idea of paradise. Where there's enough hunger for knowledge, that New Zealand's rural location only benefits the local peeps. The combination of romote local and smarts equals hip arsed Wellies. Proof that this combination works is the ever fashionable, always delicious, at worst filling at best absolutly stimulating...FIDEL'S. I now live in Los Angeles. You'd think that in this whole damn city, there'd be a coffee joint to rival little old FIDEL's? eh? NO WAY "bro." What I wouldn't do to be able to amble up Cuba street...hit up ed's first off, get a juice for the treck, and "lollygag" my way up...run into a few of my mates, buy a dress at Rex Royal, and wind up at THE ONLY PLACE TO CHILL OUT and eat massive yums served up by spunky lads and hot mommas (Chrissana). Phat beats in the backround, the cool turquoise trimmed, black painted walls, engaging conversation, and comfort food better than most...then walk over to real groovy, stop by my friend Hash's, and go home to garret street, with the best flatmates a girl ever had...who happened to be one of the best bands (PRODUCT) no band in L.A. can match. You all dont know how good you really have it. Keep it up!...I'll be back someday...and I want that seat in the back! [26 Sep 2003 13:02:42]
