Our favourite restaurant
Have dined here several times on each of our last visits to Norfolk. Very well prepared food, friendly service. Small, reasonably priced wine list. Our only gripe on our last visit was that there were only 4 starters and 4 mains. Not enough choice to make more than 2 visits.    []

No longer our favourite
It had previously changed hands, but had stayed good. Not this time! It was just terrible - that's all I can say. The starters were awful - one was wrong! After a wait we have never before experienced, smelling burning from the kitchen, hearing the Maitre D' telling others the 'chef' had recently taken up cooking, being told (several times) it wouldn't be too much longer, we gave up and left!
