Not Worth The Wait Who could resist a buffet of Filipino dishes? Lower than the price of other establishments offering buffet, boy, was I tempted to try this out. There were too many people inside and the line outside was long. We were asked to wait for more than 30 minutes (which is long, by the way, when you're in Manila). The food was okay, although the binagoongan was too sweet, the skin of the lechon was not crunchy, and some of the foods were not replaced quickly. The halo-halo ran out of ice and so the line to that table became long. The whole place had a traditional Filipino look. Wooden table with matching wooden chairs. However, some chairs were rickety, I thought they were going to fall apart. I would recommend this restaurant to balikbayans or those Filipinos who have been abroad for a long time. But for the rest, you might want to run to the food court if you want delicious Filipino dishes. [21 Mar 2000 18:41:51]
