Has Inaho Tei's sanitation improved? Good day to the staff of Shangri-la Mactan! My husband and I had a pleasant stay in this resort. We love the food at Paparazzi and the seafood buffet dinner at Cowrie Cove. In one of my friends' quick weekend getaways, we stayed at Edsa Shangri-la. The room was very "homey". Makes us feel like it is our second home! Great food at the Summer Palace. My friends insisted we try Inaho Tei but I firmly said NO. Back in the year 2000, my ex-fiance and I had lunch at Inaho Tei. We ordered the usual Japanese food: sashimi, sushi, shrimp tempura, Japanese rice and gindara. I was getting my 2nd piece of sashimi when I saw a big, shiny, black dead fly hiding behind one of the sashimi slices. Of course the waiters immediately gave us a new plate of sashimi but the dead fly had already ruined our appetite. From then on, we, (my ex-fiance, who is already my husband and I) never went back there. I should have called or emailed you after the incident but I got so busy with my wedding preparations plus we went abroad to attend to my husband's business concerns. I hope Edsa Shangri-la's resto sanitation/hygiene has improved! [29 Dec 2002 19:16:01]
