Chowking Located at River Banks-Marikina The food is good. It's just that every time I buy take-out the staff doesn't see to it that my order is complete. Me being the customer, I assumed that it's already okay but when I reached my house there are always items lacking from the order. The third time was yesterday, I ordered beef motong. Usually, the sauce is placed in a separate container, so I asked the staff on the counter "Is the sauce now with the beef?" and she answered "Yes, it's in there." So I went home confident that it's included in the noodles, but to my dismay it's not. Again! For the third time. I think the staff of that branch (Riverbanks) should be trained more on customer service. [06 Nov 2002 20:16:44]

Orders not always in order I am not really a fan of eating out but Chowking seems to give the variety that can change my mind sometimes. But the problem has always been that for the tenth time, perennially that is, the orders always seem to lack things, be it dine in or take -out.
With dine in, sure you can go to the counter again but you would not want to deal with the queue again, would you. With take out, you can only do so much to gulp the exasperation upon finding out that your order does not have something you were eager to find.
Just like the first comment I read which of course emboldened me to write this. The food is good of course, but we can make good food at home too. So if we go Chowking, of course we expect something new and of course served comfortably, completely.
It has been more than many times that I remember ordering two, but got only 1 Bangus or Halo-halo or miss the shredded meat, whatever that's called on my take-out congee, among many other things. It always sounds like arrghhh!
And by the way. The way those dishwashing boys can drop those dining stuff in that basin. I think they can do that more politely. [09 Apr 2007 06:46:59]

Beware I just came from a game and I thought of eating out. I ordered Shanghai (3pcs) rice and ordered a chili paste. Halfway, I noticed there's a fly in the chili paste. To top it all, I asked for "the Manager" and a management trainee came forward apologizing that she's not the manager, and she offered to replace my food, as if a standard procedure. Beware of this store. [13 Aug 2007 03:52:09]
