It is now so lousy Last week, I was at the Greenhills outlet.
There was so much rice it was good for two, and the pork chop was so tough I had a hard time chewing it even with no false teeth. The spoon was so soft, when I tried to cut the porkchop, it deformed!
The wanton soup was only lukewarm, with the wanton slightly colder. There was no Chinese spoon.
Even a few years ago, the congee was so watery, we stopped visitng for a long time. Since over five years ago, no Hong Kong chef has been sighted. [27 Apr 2003 00:34:08]

Unsatisfied Customer I always look for Luk Yuen whenever I go out to eat. But lately for more than three times I an not happy eating at Luk Yuen. The first time was at Cash & Carry, I ordered asado rice, to my disappointment it tasted two days old with lots of fat. At the Mega Mall branch I ordered Wanton soup and the cabbage was still raw, I did not eat the cabbage but I consumed the rest which was a lukewarm soup and cold wanton. At the Greenhills branch I ordered beef brisket rice which had only five small pieces of beef cubes and two cups of rice. [27 Apr 2003 00:53:11]

I've been an employee of Luk Yuen before belonging to the management team. They have truly maintained that Luk Yuen taste until this time but have also maintained the not so good customer service. They should give attention to crew hiring particularly on selection standards.
The customer hhas to wait for a long time before the bill is presented to the customer. But the food is still Great! [23 Jun 2003 08:18:02]

One reason we reason we eat at Luk Yuen, is there Noodle Feast, one thing i know my wife and sons agree, something i do recommend to all those who go for shopping in greenhills, sanjuan. I read the rest of the reviews and I do agree that service is quite slow, but I guess its just too many costumers that comes in the restaurant. [13 Mar 2005 07:09:51]
