A Successful Beachside Joint Breakthrough brings a great feel of being a third-world restaurant with its rustic bamboo tables and open air huts under which one can dine on fine lobster and other seafood. It is a great change from the stateside places that are glassed in with tablecloths. [02 May 2003 03:58:30]

Try The Grilled Boneless Bangus A lot of restaurants are near Breakthrough but if you really want the best grilled boneless bangus or milkfish, this is the place to be. Tatoys is known for the tangi-gi kinilaw, and most food they serve is almost identical to other restaurants within the area. You'll never go wrong with Breakthrough when it come to this menu. It's a Great Ambiance! The perfect place for romantic dinners, birthdays, and gathering with friends. Enjoy the menu of seafoods cuisine, inspired by the coastal villages of Iloilo. If you don't see it on the menu, just ask, and as long as they have the ingredients on hand and you allow them the time to prepare it, their chefs are willing to create your desired dish. Great ambiance! [07 Nov 2003 16:07:25]

Best Seafood In The Philippines I have been living in the Philippines for 10 years (French national now staying in Europe), and because of my work, I have stayed in lots of hotels & resorts in this country. Yet, Breakthrough in Villa, Iloilo City is -for me- the NUMBER ONE sea food restaurant. Service is fast and efficient, style is truly Filipino (nothing fancy) --for your comfort they even have an air-conditioned dining room-- but I prefer eating by the beach front. If ever you visit the Philippines, do not miss this wonderful restaurant. [21 May 2004 11:35:39]
