Excellent pierogi (dumplings)
It's the best place to try simple home-made Polish cuisine. They claim that the pierogi (or dumplings) are made on-site are not taken out of refrigerator.

I tried 'pierogi z miesem' (dumplings with meat) several times and they were perfect, nearly as good as made by my grandmother.

Additionally I recommend a hot cup of barszcz, traditional soup made of red beet.    [09 Sep 2003 20:12:09]
