Italian flavor in Bucharest
The place is really good! It brings back the memory all of the good times i had in Italy. What i apreciate the most in Gino's cusine, is the fresh flavor of all the dishes. They really do the "marinara sauce" (italian tomato sauce)inhouse,using fresh basil and real tomatoes(not canned). It's a real thing these days. I love tomato sauce. It goes very well with all pasta types. You must try the "pollo parmegiana" which comes(of course:) with a "spaghetti marinara" side. DELICIOUS!

In my opinion (i've been arround the world alot) it's the most italian place of Bucharest indeed. Their ossobucco milanese is a delight! Also a very tasty filetto do brasil steak. Home made tiramisu like Gino's, i had only in New York's italian restaurants. Keep up the good work Gino!    [14 Feb 2006 13:53:40]
