best pizza in town
about the only place where they serve real italian pizza.

(if a romanian says he likes pizza he means something else, something between an italian pizza, a bread, a french pizza cake and an american one.)

they have a woodstove, but if you go upstairs then the pizza comes out of an electric one.

note that in the whole country they don't put tomato sauce on the pizza, instead they serve ketchup in the bottle (!!!). ask for tomato sauce (sos rosi pronounced sauce roshi) and you will receive that (in a bowl).

the waiters speak english.

the marty cafe on the other side of the street also serves pizza, also wood stove, but not as good.
also note that the vegetables you get on the pizzas are most always out of the can, even though there is fresh stuff on the market.    [05 Sep 2006 21:21:55]
