Description

The name of this bar is formed from two Russian words, vino (wine) and syr (cheese), and says it all - the menu offers just these two items.

Located in a cellar pretty close to the downtown Tverskaya metro station. The red-colored interior prominently features a single very long table down the middle of the room.

Good place to start a weekday evening
On weekday evenings the place is quiet (apparently very busy on weekends), so it is good starting place to either start or finish your theater night out.

The menu features multiple cheeses and wines. General recommendation is to go for a sampler cheese plate and more expensive items on the wine list (all items are affordable).    [28 Oct 2007 17:59:13]
