Why isn't this place packed? This is a good Indian restaurant, the only good one at Boat Quay and one of the few good North Indian ones in the entire city. We are always amazed there aren't more people there but maybe it's because it comes after a long string of terrible Indian restaurants along the Quay who have aggressive touts. [02 Sep 2004 22:00:39]

Tad Pricey But Good The food is excellent, worth the higher price compared to other Indian restaurants in Boat Quay. The Nans could be fluffier though and I rank their Dal Makhani No. 2 after Moti Mahal on Murray Terrace Food Alley. The Smarkand guys have a food court outlet in Singapore Expo's food hall where you can have some of the dishes at a fraction of the restaurant price. [21 Sep 2004 03:20:40]
