Ramen Offers a wide variety of choices for ramen. Economical prices and tasty ramen except during certain busy days where the ramen soup base becomes quite salty. A good choice if you are fanatic about ramen! [24 Feb 2001 04:37:32]

Delicious Ramen The ramen taste very good and it comes in many types of flavours for every kind of customer. The set meal is affordable with a side order and drink. The service is wonderful and friendly. My favourite outlet is located at Tampines mall which is nearest to my place. [13 Jun 2003 11:34:55]

Not bad Many japanese restaurants in singapore serve "stereotype" versions of ramen. (I call them "touristed" versions) Ajisan's effort in coming up with better ramen is commendable in serving its own soup base. (at least they have the pride to brew their own soup!) However, there is still room for improvement as there is still a wide gap when compared to the best one can get in Tokyo. I don't mind paying $25 a bowl if they can serve a bowl like what you get in Tokyo. (The one in their Shinjuku shop is simply awesome) I think Singaporeans are deprived of the very best ramen from Japan. Once in a while Liang Court flies in the real Japanese masters from japan to offer a limited period of authetic ramen... don't miss them! It's the next best thing one can get other than flying there yourself :-) [15 Jun 2004 23:15:23]

Cold or Hot Ramen? I have only tried the ramen at Bugis Junction outlet 4 times so far, and I do agree that the ramen soup base is delicious and especially the taro ramen... the meat is so well braised and Mmm... yummy! But there are some negative points when the ramen is served. The first time I tasted it, the soup is only about 60C hot and I can still taste that the meat is freshly taken out from the fridge and dunked into hot soup without cooking. Today I visited again and yes, I had the taro ramen again. The ramen is not fully cooked. I can see uncooked flour at the core of the ramen and the ramen is hard, well, if it's meant to be this way then please pardon my ignorance. I wanted to tell the restaurant but my husband stopped me. As for the service, I find that all waiters and waitresses in the franchise Japanese restaurants in Singapore cannot even pronounce a simple Irashiaimase correctly, I can only vaguely hear "mase--mase" that's all. Also, Ajisen's staff will greet leaving customers Arigatto Gozaimasu but all I hear is "masu--masu". What's that??? Hope that someone from Ajisen will see my feedback. [23 Jul 2004 08:56:03]

Not very good I think the ramen here is not very good. If you've ever tried ramen in Japan, you'll notice the noodles from Ajisen don't even taste like ramen. [09 Aug 2005 12:47:16]
