They use canned mushrooms Well for $12, the restaurant should at least have the decency to use fresh mushrooms in their burgers. The food was much better when it first opened. Perhaps its the cost cutting measures - they have been substituting their ingredients. I didn't enjoy the food there the last time. so I'll pass. Thanks. [17 Oct 2002 06:52:13]

Very Good Manners I'll give them thumbs up for its services at JP outlet. When I was dining at JP, one of the waitress (I think her name is Alice) is very polite and I'm touched with her quality standard of service. The food was delicious and I'm quite satisfied, she deserve some sort of promotion. However some conduct of the rest of crew are inappropriate. To be specific I happen to accidently saw a couple kissing at the kitchen area. I hope the duty manager can do something about this. Don't let this ruin the good name of Billy Bombers. I love the service rendered by the manager on duty when I visited the restaurant some time ago. He even explained the difference between dishes when me and my sister asked him. Patient he was, as he waited for us to make a decision (which was really quite a long time). After the meal, despite how packed the restaurant was, he even remembered to ask how we liked our food. He was also particularly concerned and asked whether there was anything wrong with the food when a neighbouring customer didn't finish her food. I mean, personalised service in the food and service/waitressing line is rare nowadays! Cheers to quality service! Exceeded expectations. [24 Jan 2004 12:55:39]

Well done? All along I had good experiences at the Bugis outlet until I went to the JP one. My brother asked for his burger to be medium well and what he got was a dry and hard burger. The manager serving us was very polite but the long-haired waitress wasn't exactly doing her job. We caught her fooling around and joking around with her colleagues. And I have a reason for remembering her long hair. Her rebonded long fringe wasn't neatly clipped under the cap; it was all over her face. I believe it is not the kind of image Billy Bombers wants to have. [09 Feb 2006 08:29:39]
