Economic Japanese Fast Food Japanese fast food and economic pricing. It's worth a try! Reasonable portion sizes. [13 Jan 2003 02:30:52]

Cheap Japanese Food It's not fantastic, but still good - rather filling, too. [11 Mar 2003 11:00:18]

I went to the Cineleisure outlet. The service was unhygienic, although the food was tasty. Also they were quite rude and petty if you pour too much chili powder on your rice bowl! [22 Apr 2003 01:40:19]

Loses out to Japan counterpart The food tastes so-so, there is too much rice and few ingredients. The miso soup is way too salty, though the service is quite ok. I tried the food in the Yoshinoya restaurants in Japan and they are far better than the franchises in Singapore. [06 Jun 2003 00:22:56]

The food is not bad, quite filling... compared to other japanese restaurant, this place is considerably quite economical. However, during peak hours, you will realize that it is quite difficult to get a seat. The service is average. The miso soup is quite salty. [19 Aug 2003 22:57:47]

What's so great? I went to Yoshinoya at Takashimaya today. The food was horrendous. I really wonder why I had to pay so much. Believe me, my sister and I could not even eat another mouthful after the first bite. All of it went to the bin. Waste of money. The only thing good was the fruit jelly and the coke! The food here is great... not wonderful but great. Personally I quite like it and it's become a habit for me to eat at Yoshinoya at least once a week. [09 Sep 2004 23:12:11]

Cheap but good Food here is not great, just good. But you do get what you pay for right? Its filling, tasty and unmistakably japanese... what more could you ask for if you are just looking for a quick bite? [28 Apr 2007 20:40:31]
