Poor Service
Recently, I attended a wedding dinner at Restaurant 88.
Basically, throughout the whole dinner, the management and staff were lacking in service.
(1) They do not take the responsibility for the cleanliness of the restrooms, despite repeated reminders from me over a period of 45 minutes. They even had the cheekyness to push the blame on Harborfront management, saying that they are not responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restroom.
But I did not enter into any service contract with Harborfront... I am having dinner at the restaurant.
(2) The best thing, is they actually made a public announcment at 10:30pm to thank the guests for attending the wedding dinner and that the dinner had ended, without informing the couple beforehand.
I can still remember the "paiseh" look on the couple when I was on the way out, and mentioned to them that this is the first wedding dinner that I had attended with such announcement. [21 Oct 2006 02:55:05]
