The service here sucks. Let me recall 2 separate incidents.

A couple of years back, I went with a few friends to BBoss for some snacks on an extremely warm evening. After ordering, we asked if we could keep one of the menus as we wanted to use it to fan ourselves. The waitress said ok, but shortly after, the manager came over, snatched the menu from my friend and rudely remarked "the menu is not for fanning".

We were dumbfounded! He could have told us nicely! We stared at him but he just looked at us like we did something wrong. Come on, we are paying customers! The rest of the evening was spoilt because of this incident.

The second incident happened to my girlfriend and I last night. We merely wanted a drink before heading back home. We thus stopped by BBoss at 10.35pm. There was no one to serve us and we had to ask for the menu ourselves.

When the waiter came over, he said that last order is over and they are closed. Well I asked him what time they close and he said 11. "It is only 10.35!", I said and told him we are only there for drinks.

He reluctantly placed the menu on the table and walked away looking really pissed. The waitress who took our order was even worse. She was wearing a glum look on her face the whole while, and the first thing she said when she came over was, "we close at 11".

It seemed like service there really sucks and that is what matters most to me. I would not recommend going there unless you want your evening spoiled, like me on both occasions I was there.    [04 Sep 2001 03:05:14]

I've only been there once but overall I like that place. The food is only decent but the atmosphere almost compensates for all the loss. Except for the washrooms.    [12 Nov 2001 02:24:15]

Can't be choosers...
This is not a superb place for service, no doubt but then again, it's not exactly fine-dining either. I think the menu is rather interesting fusion-attempts. No complaints nor high praises there. But the surrounding is simply unique, I go there for drinks all the time and I like it in cool evenings 'coz it's the only place that is 1) in town, 2) no major human traffic, 3) reasonable selection of beers and if I have problems with service, I always mange to handle it with sarcasm and a tell-off anywhere anyways. Complaint
Few days ago, I went the restaurant and had dinner with a group of my friends as the indoor was full, we were asked to sit outside. The service was very bad. The waitress serving us was very rude giving that kind of stupid face. As my friend was not feeling well and feel like eating something light, we asked her to recommend us a dish that is suitable for him but in the end all the food she recommended was heavy and we have to decide it ourselves. She didn't fill up the water for us and we asked from her, she took a long time to come over. And another thing I would like to highlight is the toilet was very dirty.    [09 Jun 2003 00:14:11]

Nice Ambiance, Interesting Food...
Been there in groups. The food is nice, especially the pasta. I notice that there were many other interesting local cum western cusines. Got to try them all, so I'm back with another group this coming Friday night. I agree to 'chuckster'. True enough, NO Major Human Traffic and the price are very resonable.    [07 Jul 2003 23:20:04]

Can be better
Many people don't know it exists because where it is situated, and it seems too inaccessible. This restaurant needs something to draw people there. Sound, lights, more life... maybe something visual, something cool...    [04 Sep 2003 06:23:01]
