No Blues in BLU MOONLIGHT shimmers on the Potterhaus plates while cool live Jazz puts you in the mood for fabulous California cuisine cooked to perfection by Peter Schintler. The only American Chef in Singapore, Peter is a very nice guy and his imaginative and innovative dishes are simply sooo good to savour and enjoy. There is no disguising the sheer technical skill and finesse of this wonderful Chef. Dine here with your paramour and you will be on cloud nine. If you come early at about 5.30pm, stay a while and have a Blutini at the Bar....then slowly watch the orange crimson sun set over Shangri-La. Amble over to your table and start with Grilled Diver Scallops with Caper Berry and Golden Raisins (California of course). Try a Chardonnay with this like Wente Livermore 2001 which just beat 200 world class Chardonnays to be No. 1 in USA at least (the French did not take part in the competition). My favourite is Maine Lobster Risotto with pea shoots and aromatic mint. Dessert is diabolically delicious! Indian Peach Tart is so beautiful i could hardly bare to eat it but in the best traditions of that famous British Regiment whose motto is Who Dares Wins!, I sunk my teeth into the wonderful sweet treat to win such pleasurable sensations a gourmet would kill for! ENJOY!!! []
