Great food dont have to be expensive
A small restautant with great service and food. One of the top in Gothenburg in this genre.

I also want to add that the place has great atmosphere.

Most Satisfying
Excellent food and very well priced, almost cheap even. I've had a couple of the dishes and they have all been delicious. This is the best Indian food I have had in Gothenburg.    [05 Dec 2006 03:43:31]

Well, having read the above reviews I was suitably convinced to invite 9 of my colleagues to eat at the Raj Rasoi. Most of us are discerning curry eaters and so the standard had to be high to hit the mark.
The place is quite small, possibly seating 25 max so turning up with 10 people on spec was quite a test for them as they were quite busy (a good sign!). This was no problem for them and after a few minutes and a couple of table shuffles we were accommodated on tables of 6 and 4.
The service was a little slow but this had to be expected given the amount of people eating there.
The food was top notch, a comprehensive selection including some good veggie options (2 of the party were veggies) and they had a good range on Indian beers including Bangla which is my current favourite.
Everyone left satisfied and I continue to be heralded as the person who can find a decent ‘curry house’ wherever we find ourselves on business trips.
